Sri Lanka's president dissolved the parliament last 7th of this month, February. At the moment, the ruling party had the support of majority of the parliament. President has been selected from the party People's alliance. But the Government is formed by United National Party. Hence, the reason for dissolving the parliament should be a step of struggling for power, specially backing from JVP.
Dissolving Parliament by SL president, while the ruling government had the support of majority in the parliament is correct? Please comment.
