Background (Preamble):
California's largest state park, the Anza-Borrego Desert, is currently threatened by Sunrise Powerlink.
Sunrise Powerlink is a high-voltage transmission line with towers standing 150 feet tall, visible for miles across the open desert. The proposed line would run from the Imperial Valley to San Diego County.

Petition:
Please oppose the unnecessary Sunrise Powerlink, whether it’s the southern or the northern route. A better alternative is renewable, local generation.
