"Animal, Vegetable, Mineral?" was a popular quiz show which ran from 1952 until 1959, in which eminent scientists would try to guess the origin of specimens from museum and university collections.

It was one of the BBC's first major panel games.

David Attenborough was the programmes chief producer, he was also responsible for selecting the items to be shown to the panel. It was his second television 'credit'.

Four complete episodes exist in the BBC archives.

We would like the BBC to release the four surviving episodes (as well as any surviving clips) on DVD, so that they can continue to educate and entertain.

We, the undersigned, call on the BBC to release the four surviving episodes (as well as any surviving clips) of "Animal, Vegetable, Mineral?" on DVD, so that they can continue to educate and entertain.

A good time for the BBC to do this would be in 2012 to celebrate 60 years of David Attenborough working for them.
