Muswellbrook Shire Animal Shelter is a very old run down place.
This shelter has a HIGH KILL rate and is only open for 2 hours per day.
Monday to Friday
We the undersigned request that Muswellbrook Shire Council improve the conditions for the animals impounded at their Shelter asap.
We ask that humane changes and a review of KILL rates be made.
The opening hours of the Shelter need to be looked at so that more people can come and search for their lost pet or look at a pet to adopt.
The Council also needs to allow pictures of impounded animals to be seen on their website and other areas.
