The current facilities provided at Moorebank skatepark are not suitable for the existing local community of young families and visitors to the park. This park does not provide suitable shelter, accessible water or BBQ facilities. We are engaged in providing community events at this park biannually and feel that these previous issues need to be addressed immediately.
We need these upgrades to encourage more families to stay and participate with their children whilst they engage in this sport of bmx, scooter and skateboard riding.
"We, the undersigned, call on Liverpool City Council to upgrade the existing facilities at Moorebank Skate Park to provide adequate shelter for families, BBQ facilities and continuous access to water."
We believe this will encourage families, local businesses, schools and surrounding community organisations to utilize this park and host sporting events on a regular basis.
