To: Homeland Security, US Elected Representatives.
PETITION IN SUPPORT OF POL BRENNAN
WE REQUEST THAT HOMELAND SECURITY DROP ITS OPPOSITION TO BAIL FOR POL BRENNAN (AGE 55) AND ALLOW HIM TO FIGHT HIS CASE IN A FAIRER MANNER.
CONTRARY TO BELIEF HE IS NOT A FLIGHT RISK AND INTENDS TO PERSUE HIS CASE THROUGH THE COURTS IN A LEGAL MANNER AND RESPECT THE AUTHORITY OF THE COURT,
Pol Brennan is a 53 years Irish political refugee who successfully fought an extradition attempt from the British Government in 1993.
He spent seven years in U.S. Custody as Britain sought his extradition. Britain abandoned its efforts in October 2000.
Pol Brennan has since lived and worked openly in the San Francisco Bay area while waiting to hear if his political asylum application has been approved.
He has lived in the US since 1984 and has proven during that time he is a valued hard working man who has made a new life for himself here in the US.
He is no national security threat ‘Let him have the chance of a normal life it is the humane thing to do.
