As homeowners at Richardson's Run, we propose that a pervious walkway replace the Open Space Natural Trail that surrounds our community.
We feel that the condition of a Natural Trail will not be easy to maintain nor be as appealing as a hard-surface trail.
In this community there are many active homeowners who enjoy outdoor exercise (jogging, walking, biking) plus many families with young children. There are also several families with dogs who enjoy a nice walk around our community. A hard-surface (pervious) trail would be appreciated by many. It would be safer to use and add to the finished look of our community.
We realize that the funds to complete this project will come out of our HOA fees and is not the responsibility of the developer or the builder.
We, the undersigned, call on the Executive Board of The Richardson's Run Community Association, Inc. to replace the Open Space Natural Trail with a pervious hard-surface trail.
