Please sign this petition so it can be presented as ONE VOICE to pertinent world leaders. The world has condone the dictator’s actions unleashing abuses and brutalities on the Eritrean people. We need to be united and organized so that we can be strong, heard and ultimately remove the current Eritrean government from the office.

This Petition is:

-TO ESTABLISH THE CONSTITUTION OF ERITREA.
-TO ELECT BOARD COMMITTEE AND TRANSITIONAL NON-MILITARY
GOVERNMENT.
-TO ESTABLISH ERITREAN CIVILIAN GOVERNMENT ELECTED BY
THE PEOPLE.
-TO BRING THE CURRENT DICTATOR, ISAIAS AFEWERKI AND HIS ADMINISTRATION TO JUSTICE.

Eritrea has been under Isaias Afewerki’s dictatorship for over the past 27 years. Human rights in Eritrea is one of the worst in the world. According to United States Department of State, Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights and Labor on Eritrea Human Right Report, indicated “unlawful or arbitrary killings; forced disappearance; torture; arbitrary detention by the government; harsh and life-threatening prison and detention center conditions; political prisoners; arbitrary or unlawful interference with privacy; restrictions on freedom of peaceful assembly and association” to name a few. The atrocities that this dictator has imposed on Eritrean people is enormous. This dictator is barbaric, brutal, and evil. He MUST be brought to justice.

In Eritrea, as of today, there is NO:
Constitution
Human rights
Legislature
Independent judiciary
Freedom of speech
Freedom of press
Quality education

According to The America Team for Displaced Eritreans:
· Eritrea ranked 7 out of 7 (the lowest ranking) in the 2019 Freedom in the World index, as well as in prior years. Freedom House.
· Eritrea had the second least free press in the world as of 2018 (following North Korea). Reporters Without Borders.
· Eritrea had the third largest army in Africa as of 2017 (following Egypt and Sudan). International Institute for Strategic Studies; World Atlas.
· Eritrea ranked 179th out of 189 countries in the 2018 report on the United Nations’ Human Development Index (2016 figures). United Nations Development Program.
· Eritrea ranked 157th out of 180 countries in the 2018 Corruption Perceptions Index (published 2018). Transparency International.
· Eritrea had the second highest prevalence of slavery in the world as of 2018 (following North Korea). Global Slavery Index.
· Eritrea ranked 177th out of 180 countries in the 2019 Index of Economic Freedom. Heritage Foundation.

After the so called peace between Eritrea and Ethiopia, the condition in Eritrea has not changed. In Eritrea we continue to live in a constant fear and horror because we don’t know who is next to be abused, arrested and/or killed. As such, we continue to flee out of Eritrea, despite facing death in the hands of human traffickers or drowning in the capsized boats in the Mediterranean Sea.

We are proud to be Eritreans and want to go back to our beloved country and Establish Our Constitution, Practice Democracy, Exercise Human Rights, Work and Invest toward Economic Growth and Development. We are intelligent and hard-working people. Unfortunately, our enemy/the dictator is from within. We will never stop to fight the fight to get our country back.

Message to Ethiopian President, Dr. Abey:
We the Eritrean people are observing your behavior and relationship with the dictator in Eritrea. The peace that you are forging with the dictator, and the benefits in which you are gaining is unsustainable because the Eritrean people have not voted.
It saddens us that you, Dr. Abey, despite your knowledge of the dictator's abuses and killings of Eritreans, you are respecting and glorifying him. You can not play dam. We saw and heard the interview from the Orthodox Patriarch, Abune Antonios, stating his arrest for thirteen years because he spoke for those who are unjustly arrested.

You have used the media’s portrayal of your visit to Eritrea to convince and gain support from western and other countries. You are well aware that the people were force to go to the streets to greet you or be punished by prison and fines.

Your actions and decisions with the dictator are creating a great deal of tensions between the Eritrean and Ethiopian people. It seems history is repeating. Until you stop dealings and empowering this dictator, we are against you. You may have won the war, for now, but WE Will Win the Battle.

Message to United States, European Countries and Middle East (who are making deals with Eritrean dictator):
We, the Eritrean people, are in despair to watch you negotiating with the current dictator, who has been violating basic human rights and causing many of us to be displaced around the world. The dichotomy is that you have a constitution and democracy, and yet you are directly or indirectly supporting the current Eritrean government who has betrayed his people, alienated Eritrea from the rest of the world, and committed crimes on its people. The current Eritrean government is criminal and has to be brought to justice. Those countries who are making deals with this criminal government are as wrong and guilty by association. You are either for democracy or against democracy. Please choose democracy and join us to remove this evil dictator.

Please note: Eritreans are organizing to take back our country. If you decide to continue with out the will of the Eritrean people, 1) how is your investment going to be secured while there is going to be unrest at anytime? 2) what would you tell your people in supporting this dictator?

Message to the dictator:
You betrayed Eritrean people and your leadership has caused us a tremendous pain and, as a result, we continue to flee out of our country. You almost destroyed Eritrea and Eritreans. You are not going to be successful. We will rebuilt Eritrea and bring democracy to our society. Your game is over and we will bring you to justice, for all the crimes you and your administration committed. You are the worst leader who is selfish, mean-spirited, corrupted, criminal, backward and ignorant. We will not stop until you and those who are collaborating with you are removed from the office.

Thank you,
Eritrean

We the Eritrean people who are against the dictator's leadership ask that the United States, European Countries, Ethiopia and Middle East government to denounce the Eritrea dictator and support the Eritreans' movement for democracy.
