Today The united states government does not provide a holiday for the living veteran of any wars, we do have memorial day but that is a day to honor all those who gave the ultimate sacrifice, Their life.
So what about the veteran that survived the conflicts and come home to nothing. I believe that it is about time that the us government gives the nation a day to support all veterans of the united states and make veterans day a national holiday.

We, THE UNDERSIGNED, CALL ON THE UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT TO PAY RESPECTS TO ALL US VETERANS BY MAKING VETERANS DAY A NATIONAL PAID HOLIDAY.
IT SHOULD NOT BE A DAY OFF FOR JUST TOWNS, STATE OFFICIALS, SCHOOLS, POST OFFICES, AND BANKS TO BE ABLE TO HAVE THE DAY OFF WITH PAY.
ALL AMERICANS NEED TO SHOW THERE RESPECT TO THE PEOPLE WHO OFFERED THERE LIFE FOR THE COUNTRY (THE ULTIMATE SACRIFICE). THERE LIFE.
