MURDER AND TORTURE AT SUNSHUI LABOUR CAMP WHERE DAUGHTER OF A VANCOUVERITE IS IMPRISONED IN PROVINCE OF SISTER CITY.
On behalf of this old couple and three daughters, Falun Gong Practitoners seek City Council to Approach Councilor Raymond Louie and Mayor Larry Campbell to interecede on behalf of a devastated Vancouver Family who have recently found out that their daughter is held in a labour camp in Guangdong.
"They have been crying ever since they found out about this new development. They know the horror stories about Shunshui Labour Camp commonly known as 'hell on earth'" says Louise Chen, friend of the family.
Dear Mayor Campbell and Councillor Louie:
We, the citizens of Vancouver, request that you secure a release warrant for Ms. Jinyan Yang, a resident of Province Guang Dong, while you are in City Guangzhou, Province Guang Dong,China.
Ms. Yang is a member of a family residing in the city of Vancouver. Her mother, father and three sisters are devastated by this news. Ms. Yang has just been sentenced to 2 years at Sanshui Labor Camp following two months of illegal detention, for simply standing up for her belief in the teachings of Falun Gong - "Truthfulness-Benevolence-Forbearance.
We have seen the brutal torture visited upon innocent citizens and know of the many documented deaths by torture that have taken place in Sanshui Labor Camp.
We would like to remind our Mayor and Mr. Louie that: "Evil only triumphs over good when good men do nothing."
