Keep Kearney

We, the undersigned, support the promotion of Doctor Mary Celeste Kearney to Associate Professor with tenure at The University of Texas' RTF department in its College of Communication.

As a pioneering force in critical and cultural, gender and sexuality, and media studies—drawing interest across a wide spectrum of fields—Doctor Kearney offers stimulating and pertinent research and mentoring.

Therefore, we protest the recent denial of her tenure, and seek her placement as a permanent faculty member within the department.
