One night I was watching one of my children, while the mother of them took the other one shopping. I was studying for a test the next day. When she came home, she acted normally. She did not say anything for two days or more before she decided that both children had been abused by me.
She had one child with her so I could not possibly abuse both. I did not abuse the first child either. She just wanted to end our relationship and this is how she chose to do it. There were no marks on the child. If there were marks on the child that night, why did she wait for two days before taking them to the doctor?
Child abuse laws should be changed, so there is proof that is visible to the naked eye, so anyone who saw the child would have thougt there may be abuse involved. Children fall and get hurt by themselves, it does not automatically get labeled child abuse.
If one parent waits more than the day they thought the child was abused, it should be looked at differently. Maybe the parent is just looking for a way out of a relationship. If the parent waits, then they should be looked at more closely, for motive of what they are saying. It should not have to come down to he said/she said.
