Ban livestock sales at pets at home!

I have first hand experience that Pets At Home sell sick and dying animals, I was sharing with my best mate at the time she purchased a Russian Dwarf hamster, the poor thing died after two days.

We went back to the shop refund was given but no investigation was under way. For all we know the hamsters siblings could still be for sale at the time and ill too. The staff are under trained and don't appear to know what they are doing. Syrians are meant to live alone as stated in store, so why is there several housed together in the same tank?

Living conditions are very poor at pets at home, animals are under weight and look in poor health. Pets at home use breeders that are just out to make profit and mass breed and have no care or concern for the animals in question. I have seen dead fish many times in their stores. All the tanks are linked together so no fish can be quarantined, causing a high risk of infection spreading.
