Saluda Street Cooridor has been labled as a gateway to down town Rock Hill. Saluda Street Cooridor has also been labled as a dying community that has lost what it once represented; A place for older residence to be able to enjoy a walk to an area market.
A place for the working residence to go after work and enjoy a meal and a good time that is within walking distance of there residence; A place for the unemployed to network and find employment; A place for visitor to our city to drive through and see life and not old abandon building and closed business.
There is a need for change, and it needs to begin within the community and with our small business owners.

This is a petition to extend the business hours in the mixed use cooridor of Saluda Street.
We want to petition the council to amend the text to exclude businesses from Johnston Street to Heyward Street and permit businesses to be able to operate from 10:00 pm to 12 midnight.
