Many veterans as well as civilians and animals suffer from the loud noise of fireworks.
There is no reason to have the thunderous noises that fireworks cause distress to sufferers of PTSD everywhere.
Please sign this and share the idea with those in your local government. Lets start a movement as well as a discussion. Maybe we can alleviate the stress that many people suffer on some holidays.
The "Quiet Fireworks" are beautiful and just as thrilling if not more so than loud ones.
We, the undersigned feel that the time has come to consider those that suffer from PTSD and stop using loud fireworks to "celebrate" holidays. Please use the newer "Quiet" fireworks instead.
These fireworks not only cause distress for many animals but also to those who suffer from PTSD.
Countless animals run away in fear (we have no idea what reactions the wild animals have) during these "celebrations". Civilians and veterans with PTSD suffer silently, unless you are afflicted with this malady it is impossible to understand the fear and restlessness that fireworks cause. Please help us to lessen the stress caused.
Please consider noise ordinances in almost all municipalities and either lower the level of the noises to fit the laws or simple coordinate the displays with a musical background.
Celebrate the holidays and let all the people enjoy a peaceful exciting display.
