Wal-Mart has proposed a "SuperCenter" for The Dalles, but the city did not hold proper hearings to allow public input on all issues.
The Oregon State Land Use Board of Appeals recently determined that the Wal-Mart application contained faulty traffic data, and has required the city to review the proposal again.

Citizens for Responsible Development in The Dalles request a full hearing on the Wal-Mart application, to include discussion of any issues that impact the local community.
Many issues were not considered during the original hearing process, which was not fair to the public.
