Background (Preamble):
There is a proposed budget to cut the adoption program at Collier County’s Domestic Animal Services. The budget cut would lead to a dramatic jump in the number of pets euthanized. Without the adoption program people will be more likely to dump pets by the roadside. The number of animal-to-people and animal-to-pet bites would likely increase.
Please contact the Board of County Commissioners. Tell them to save the DAS adoption program.
