Whereas the price of fuel has skyrocketed far beyond expectatation and;
Whereas Canadians require an alternate means for cost effective transportation and;
Whereas relying on planes and cars is too expensive a means for long distance transportation;
We the undersigned demand the government re-introduce passenger rail service in Western Canada on the southern route namely from Winnipeg thru Regina and on to Vancouver via Calgary,
We the undersigned demand the government re-introduce this service and in so doing ensure an individual is hired who will earnestly promote the development of passenger rail transport as a means to travel in this vast area.
