In recent years fans of a certain football club from Glasgow, with Irish leanings have shown themselves to be a disgrace on and off the pitch.
For decades our dead were respected by observing a minutes silence until latter years when such poignant moments were disrupted on several occasions, most notably the passing of the Queen Mother and Scottish soccer legend Davie Cooper.
Society now is being asked to pay homage to their dead by a minutes applause so that the followers of this club can no longer be seen or more to the point heard being disrespectful.
We the undersigned are disgusted that Rangers Football Club continues to appease those wishing to be disrespectful to the dead.
We no longer wish to be told that we must applaud for 1 minute and request that we return to the dignified manner which served the country well for decades.
Our support can be trusted to observe silence and therefore this can only be the manner in which to pay homage.
