im in full agreeance. i drive myself but my mum and many others in grovedale are suffering as well. barely any buses on week ends, barely any going to waurn ponds. they forget for some it also friendships and keeps people going, almost family. were currently doing a petition for g/dale, we need everyone together united before stage 2 and 3 are organised early next year. we got a legal petition form from crutchfields office as we are told its the only form of petition document they will recognise

what needs to be done, and yourve started this beautifully (i didnt know this site existed, mum found one of your slips), is get everyone one aware of what is being done, get everyone to sign in all areas effected and ALL of us band together. this is a state issue now that they have taken over council control of geelong transport, im currently fighting for buses back in morrabool st too as promised years ago. if we take too long once the nexts stages are in thats it its locked in.

Hi just to let you know there are two "paper based" petitions going round re both North Shore services - people aren't happy with what the Do Transport has done to this service too. I know people also complaining about the East Geelong/Whittington Services.

Seriously, it is clear that the transport dapartment has had little if any community consultation on this matter so it's important they know how these so called improvements have effected bus users before the whole of the city is affected, for this reason I am also communicating via letter directly with Richard Sloane from the Department of Transport 180 Fyans Street South Geelong Vic 3220 as well as Michael Crutchfield MP and hopefully our service will be truly improved by the end of the 2009.

great work everyone, get these paper petitions going every where. im looking at taking afew days off in the next couple of weeks and am going to ride them on the grovedale line and get signatures. i would like to get a rough deadline for us and collecting names and submit them all together as a sign of unity in numbers.... just a thought. but until then keep working hard getting them.
