would love to see a survey done for extended trading hours done with people who do NOT work in the industry. How different the outcome would be!

WORK EVERY DAY AND HIGHLY FAVOUR THE OPPORTUNITY TO SPEND MY SATURDAY DOING SOMETHING OTHER THAN SHOPPING FOR GROCERIES WITH EVERY OTHER MAN AND HIS DOG.

it's great for all you 9 to 5 people what about all of us forced to work longer hours because your all to fat and lazy to get out of bed on a saturday and do you shopping once a month.
if you don't like WA the way it is you should bugger off back to where you came from and leve us all in peace.
we dont'want to be like sydney and melbourn 24/7 shoppers with nothing better to do than look for a pair of shoes at 1 am in the morning.

Vic, I probably won't go and buy shoes at 1am in the morning. That's because, both Melbourne and Sydney don't have 24/7 retail, have you actually heard of ANYONE proposing 24/7 trading in Perth? No, I didn't think so. It's quite simple, if you don't want to go shopping at 8.30, don't. If you want to go shopping at 8.30, go ahead. For a country that's "young" and "free", there are alot of old people who have nothing better to do than complain about things that won't affect them.

Why extended shopping hours it helps the econommy yeah but what about the poor people like me who have to work in a shop all day everyday.
