Hey guys. I'm an Aussie and I love this place! I've been living here for over a year (in Birmingham) and I think I might stay. I love the old pubs, the culture, the opportunities, and the general warmth of the people. My whole family's originally from Italy and I can actually visit them without having to spend three grand on a plane ticket. I know loads of ppl want to leave - and I understand their reasons - but it's really not any better in Australia. Just try to actually "live" in Sydney

I have travelled the world extensively and eventually settled in the UK, why because the British are the nicest, most honest, intelligent, welcoming, tolerant people on this planet who fight for what is right and believe in justice for all. I love them with my heart and soul.

i live in Chicago and it absolutely sucks. its so true that you have to be away from home to really appreciate it! the people of England are so much kinder and welcoming. England just seems to have a warmth to it no other country does. i have settled and am definitly moving back ..... so glad.

I grew up in central Tokyo and went on to do my MSc and PhD in Manchester. I spent seven years in a stinking slum full of petty Nigerian criminals, stupid weed-smoking students and drunken Irishmen. I LOVED IT. Now, I live in a continental Christian theocracy masquerading as a modern republic, and IT SUCKS. I'm going to dump my career, cross the channel back to my beloved Island so that I can live and let live without having to combat low-IQ racist morons and eventually become a British citizen.
